The Africa Urban Forum, launched by the African Union Commission and its member states in 2022, promotes sustainable development in African cities. It follows the Harmonized Regional Framework for Implementing the New Urban Agenda in Africa, aligning with Africa’s Agenda 2063.
Ethiopia will host the first Africa Urban Forum on September 4-6, 2024, at the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum. The event will include round-tables, plenary sessions, panel discussions, dialogues, side events, assemblies, and exhibitions.
